As a lifelong watch collector, I set out to solve the problems that had frustrated me for years - where to safely store my timepieces during travel and how to keep them properly wound at home, without breaking the bank.

What does it do?

A watch winder rotates automatic watches so they are kept on time, looking good, and always ready to wear. 

 

What Is An Automatic Watch?
An automatic watch (also called a "self-winding" watch) is powered by the natural motion of your wrist throughout the day. Inside the watch is a small rotor that spins as you move, winding the mainspring that keeps the watch running. Most popular models from luxury watch brands such as Omega, Rolex, Tudor, Seiko, Tissot, Tag Heuer, Brietling are automatic watches. 

 

That's where a watch winder comes in: It gently rotates the watch when it's not being worn, mimicking the motion of your wrist, so it's kept on time. It also works as a beautiful storage box / display box, stunning to look at! 

I have a small wrist, will it fit my watch?

Absolutely! Our watch pillows are designed to accommodate a wide range of wrist sizes, including smaller wrists. This watch winder features the Ultra Flex Pillow, which is like a super soft memory foam material, and will easily adjust to the size of all bracelet sizes. 

How loud is the motor? Will I hear it at night?

Not at all. Our ultra-quiet TWBC Wanbao motors are so discreet, people in our community keep their winder on a bedside table. Just silent, smooth movement—like the luxury watches it's built to care for.

Is it compatible for my watch?

Yes! This is designed to work with all traditional automatic watches. Our winder uses gentle rotations that safely mimic your natural wrist movement. The settings are programmed for popular luxury brands including Rolex, Omega, Tudor, Breitling, TAG Heuer, Tissot, Seiko, and many others. If you're unsure about a specific model, just email us at support@thewatchboxco.com.au with your watch details and we'll confirm compatibility. 


Currently, our winders are optimised for traditional automatic movements and do not support Seiko Kinetic models.

What is your warranty and returns policy?

Something isn't working as it should? Every winder is backed by a 12-month warranty that covers all manufacturing defects, and our amazing, friendly, and responsive support team. Not what you expected? You also have 14 days to return the item (we ask you to cover the small return postage fee). See our full warranty and returns policy here.
