Our story

"Why is my $15k watch never on time?"

"I don't want to wear a watch on a flight.. where do I put it?"

Founded in Sydney, Australia, we are committed to sharing our passion for watch care and luxury timepieces. Made by a watch enthusiast who got tired of worrying about where to put watches when travelling (especially on a plane) and at home.

As long-time watch enthusiasts, we believe our beloved timepieces should be stored in the most elegant ways possible. Our problem was that most watch care products were either painfully overpriced or seriously out of style.

All of our products are carefully chosen, tried and tested by real watch enthusiasts. We bring an exceptional experience for all our customers and constantly pushing to do better.

We carry the finest collection of watch storage and winder solutions available.

History of The Watch Box Co.

It all began when our CEO, Jason, a young corporate professional, purchased his first watch, Tissot PRX Powermatic 80.

Hooked by the world of horology, Jason treated his Tissot PRX like his baby.

As a busy and active person, Jason didn't always wear his Tissot. He wanted to wear it on his night outs in the city but not the gym, wear it to the office but not at home.

Jason was frustrtated by the look of his watch collecting dust on the table on days he wasn't wearing it. And that his (at the time, expensive) watch would never be on time because he wasn't picking it up every day.

"Why is my $1,300 watch never on time?"

"Where do I put this thing when I'm travelling?"

He wanted something more for the watch, storage solutions, that would keep dust off the watch and keep it on time.

He searched everywhere for the right watch winder and travel cases. There were 2 options - 1) $30 from Amazon and 2) $700 from luxury brands (most had terrrible reviews!).

He didn't want to put his watch on a $30 winder but didn't make sense to purchase a $700 one either.

The Watch Box Co. was born out of the simple frustration - most watch care products were either painfully overpriced or seriously out of style.
